RSETI PROGRESSIVE ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT - RSETI PRAMAN

RSETl-PRogressive Assessment MANagement (RSETI-PRAMAN) is one of its kind initiative from the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD). Govt of India and the National Academy of RUDSETI, Bangaluru.

PRAMAN resolves to bring in the best practices into skill assessment and evolve as the synonym of high quality skill assessments in India. PRAMAN is committed to creating a scalable and replicable model of skill assessment management system.

Impressed With the success Of the RUDSETI model Of training, Ministry Of Rural Development, Govt. Of India directed Scheduled commercial Banks to establish Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIS) across the country. To build the capacity of these RSETIS, to mentor and monitor them, the promoters of RSETI established National Academy of RSETI (NAR) at Bengaluru. NAR has been recognised as the National Resource Organisation (NRO) for RSETIS.

Post the alignment of the RSETI training courses with the stipulations of Common Norms Notification (CNN)of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, a separate vertical for Assessment and Certification was established at NAR in 2019, The vertical accepted the name of PRAMAN- (Progressive Assessment Management).

PRAMAN is responsible for conducting Assessment and Certification of all RSETI trainees confirming to the CNN. The vertical also carries out the task of training and certifying EDP and Domain Skill Trainers and assessors across RSETls. In the year 2022, PRAMAN was given two additional responsibilities- one that of Quality assurance of RSETI trainings and post training activities, and another for assessing and certifying Community Resource Persons-Enterprise Promotion (CRP-EP) s operating under different programs of the Ministry of Rural Development (MORD), Govt of India In addition to these tasks, PRAMAN takes up assessment of other Govt funded and non-funded skill development programs leading to certification of candidates in NSQF aligned job roles.
